What We Do
Keraniganj Human Resources Development Society is a non-political voluntary organization. Since 2006, with the consent of local dignitaries and people, the organization has been working to protect the basic rights and interests of backward children, adolescents, youth, women/men, and persons with disabilities through education, health services, skills enhancement, employment opportunities, involving poor people in income-generating activities, and creating self-employment both domestically and internationally.
Child and adolescence education.
KHRDS provides learning materials, tutoring, and raise awareness among parents, protect children’s rights, and work with schools and communities so that children can continue learning in a safe and supportive environment.
Food distribution to the poor.
KHRDS ensures food distribution to the poor by identifying vulnerable families and providing them with free or low-cost food. We also monitor needs to make sure the most needy people receive regular and nutritious food.
Distribution of medicine to victims.
KHRDS ensures distribution of medicine to flood victims and the poor by quickly identifying affected people and their medical needs. We also work with doctors and volunteers to ensure safe and proper use of the medicines.
